Dorothy Lowery:

Dorothy Elizabeth Beason Lowery, 90, of 125 Henderson Circle, Forest City, NC died at Rutherford Hospital on Thursday, November 6, 2008. A native of Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Lonie Greene Beason. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. Lowery was retired from Cone Mills of Cliffside.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Perry Ray Lowery.

She is survived by one daughter, Kay Dobbins and husband Melvin of Cliffside; one sister, Rosa Styles of Iron Station, NC.

She is also survived by a granddaughter, Kathy Felker and husband Mike of Spartanburg; a great grandson Kenny Moore and wife Andrea of West Des Moines, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday November 9, 2008 at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Buddy Morehead officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 9, 2008 from 2 to 3:00 p.m. at the church.
